Pastor's Corner

Happy New Year!!!

How can it already be February? Time is surely going at a rapid pace. I pray that all of you are well. Sorry for the delay in the update. Things are very busy around the McDaniel home these days. The new year has started off in great fashion and I believe this will be a wonderful year. The Lord has placed a challenge on us here at Trade Lake to reach out like never before. To reach our community for Christ. We are living in the last minutes of the last days and people need salvation. SO many churches have stopped preaching that message and people are dying all around us stepping into eternity without Christ. That is a real tragedy. We are doing all we can here at Trade Lake to keep the Gospel message going and at the front of the line. I have taken a stand on this and proclaim boldly that our message is Jesus and the cross and the saving grace that we are extended if we accept God's perfect and free gift. There is no more important message.

We have many things planned over this year and Lord willing it will be a great time had by all. I urge you to come and be a part of as much as you can when you are near. March 14th will be bring a friend day. I am personally inviting all of you to come and be a part of the worship on that day it will be special. I am excited about the direction that we are going and I believe we are on the right track to truly make an impact for the kingdom this year like never before. Please keep this ministry in your prayers. Join us in person if you can and if not and you want to here the message please join us on YOUTUBE. Just type in Trade Lake Baptist Church and you will find us there. Have a blessed day. Until next update may His grace and mercy keep you.

Pastor

I want to encourage you if you are in the area to come and visit with us on Sunday morning. We have a wonderful time of worship and fellowship. God's Word is still preached and souls are still saved. If you are looking for a church home, I can tell you we are blessed with one of the most warm and welcoming body of believers I have ever been a part of. I have never been more welcomed and felt more comfortable any where I have ever lived or worshipped. I look forward to meeting you soon. May His blessings find you each and every day.

God is blessing us in so many ways it is awesome. To see the joy that is being shared and the spirit of unity that is present here at Trade Lake makes me not only proud but inspired. So many churches do not have that any more. There is such division in the church over this and that and along the way the true purpose of the church is lost and that is the message of the Gospel. One human soul is priceless and the fact that lost people are all around us should concern everyone who is a believer in Jesus Christ. I once had someone many years ago ask me if I would ever stop preaching about Salvation? and of course my answer was not until everyone gets saved! To be very honest there is nothing more important. The lessons and stories contained in the Bible are wonderful and can and do teach many valuable lessons for life, but none of them show their true meaning until a person surrenders their life to Christ. It is then that the Bible becomes a living Word and the Scriptures mean so much more and show so much more. I encourage you today if you have not made that decision, to follow Christ, please do it today. Do not wait!!!! The Book of Revelation tells many things about the time we are living in right now. We can see it unfold right before our very eyes. One very important verse is found in Chapter One at the end of verse 3 when John is told why he is to record these words, this verse ends with these words, "for the time is near." Never has those words been more important and more true. With all my heart I indeed believe that the time is near. More and more each day God is revealing it is time to be ready. It has been the "last days" since Jesus returned to Heaven and as time has moved forward many began to wonder just when things might happen. Jesus said that "no man knows the hour nor the day." What is He saying? It is just that, we do not know the exact minute that He will show up, but rest assured that He is coming and you surely need to be ready at all times just in case it is today. I preach and teach on this subject alot. This is not in a gloom and doom matter of speaking but in a preparedness way. I truly want everyone I know to go to Heaven, sadly I know that this will not be the case, but I am going to take as many people with me as possible. I pray that these words may inspire someone who is reading to think, "What if today were the day, what if I died right now, do I know for sure what will happen?" If that is you, if that is what is going through your mind right now then stop and say this prayer, Dear Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, I ask you through the presence of the Holy Spirt, first to forgive me for all I have done in my life that has displeased you. I am truly sorry, I want to change my life. I want to please you and be a part of your family. I have been told and now I see that there is only one way and that is accepting your free gift of salvation that is offered to me by the death of Jesus on the Cross. I accept this gift and I ask Jesus to come into my heart and make me new and change my life. I give you my heart and soul, Lord, I want to be yours from now and on through Eternity. Thank you for hearing me, thank you for saving me. I love you.   I ask this in the name of the One who saves, Jesus, Amen!!

If you just prayed that and you truly meant it, then you just got born again. I urge you to find a Bible believing and teaching church and begin a fellowship that will help your faith grow. If you are close to us here at Trade Lake certainly come and visit with us, we would love to have you. Have a blessed day. Until we meet again or until we meet on the other side, you are in my prayers.

I want to say thank you to everyone who is joining us here on the web. We will constantly be working to insure the best quality and the best content that we can provide to make sure your visit with us is enjoyable and most certainly a blessing. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy being here at Trade Lake. At no time in my ministry have I ever been more blessed and more at home. The people here are wonderful and a true joy to work with. I look forward to each and every service. The Spirit of God has been truly at hand as of late and want to encourage all of you that are able or visiting the area to come and join us for one of our services. I can promise you a few things. First you will be made to feel welcome and let know that we are glad you are with us. The second thing I can promise you is that you will hear the Bible preached without compromise. Many people have told me how they have been searching for a Bible preaching church and were excited after visiting with us to see that there are still a few out there. I will be updating this page very soon with some information on a new door that God is opening that will involve televison. I will have more to say about that later. I would also like to invite anyone who is interested to view my page http://www.squidoo.com/Life-52. On this page you will find out more about my book and see some great offers on books and music that will bring a blessing to you. I look forward to seeing you soon. If I can be of any help to you in any way please email at pastorandytlbc@yahoo.com.  Hope to hear from you soon. May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You.

In Christ,   Pastor Andy
